Purpose

The Mission of the Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust is to reduce the rate of suicide and suicidal behaviour by

​Promoting suicide prevention strategies

Providing community education and support

Raising awareness

Providing bereavement support

Reducing stigma

Description

We need somebody that can organise fun events such as Quiz nights to raise funds, street appeal with buckets collecting money for our cause but that may require a whole team of people. There may be other events that they may be aware of that we are not.

These funds would go towards T-shirts, printing, room rental at meetings, badges, suppers at meetings, organising big events, payment to organise for out of town speakers into Dunedin

Requirements

No skills but prior experience of fundraising would be beneficial.

Honesty is a quality that is required.

Time commitment

Any time that suits the volunteer.
