Oh Hey Studio Family, 

Kasey here, remember me? It seems like just yesterday that you were home to me, but can you believe it has been 5 years since I left? 

I know it’s cringe, but you know how they say you never forget your first? You will always be that for me. The first time I truly felt connected to a community at University, my first time feeling both passionate, challenged and safe at the same time, my first adrenaline rush from running an event I cared about, my first practice at receiving and giving feedback (constructive of course!!), my first time getting a taste for how it feels to have a positive impact on the world around me and just so much more.

I thought studying Psychology was going to be my only love but the Studio showed me you can have many loves in this world and that you can live life in a space that combines them all. I wanted to let you know that I have found that. My new love is a sweet wee thing called Tomorrow Woman over in Sydney. And wow is she all of the things that you taught me to dream of for myself. We create spaces together every day where we empower women to speak up, to use their voices, about the conversations that matter. 

It feels a bit strange sharing my new love with you but I wouldn’t be here without you. When I think of a life defining moment, meeting you, the studio and all of the beautiful humans alongside, is it. You will always be home and always where my heart is.
