Students are great
We’re looking forward to working with you! We are students who are enthusiastic and willing to get involved and give back to our community. Many of us are pursuing careers that will hopefully create positive social impact in some way, so why not start now!
We are mostly studying fulltime, so there are times in the year when we might get bogged down with study. We greatly appreciate organisations that get this and support some flexibility around the timing of some roles, but we also completely understand when something just needs to be done!
Don’t hesitate to really lay out your expectations of us and hold us accountable for when we don’t stick to them. Clarity is good. So are reminders.
We’re in cahoots with Volunteer South
We promote the volunteer roles of organisations that members with the good people at Volunteer South. With your permission, Volunteer South then shares information about your organisation and volunteer opportunities with us, and then we put them in front of students via our online database and social media communities.
If you’re not a member with Volunteer South yet, membership with Volunteer South currently costs a big fat $0, so why not?? Plus you get a tonne of support from some clever people.
