Description
This programme is an opportunity to add to school technology learning. Utilising the Code Club NZ projects working with the Scratch programme, extending this with alternate projects and learning opportunities.
Youth Development Programmes are aimed to add to childrens school Technology learning and experiences.
Volunteers will be Facilitating and assisting the children to complete Code club NZ projects, Raspberry Pi, Sense hat, microbit projects and working with picaxe breadboard coding and other programmable technology when available.
Extending learning from Scratch based projects into other coding language.
Requirements
Experience with scratch and other programming languages, programmable technologies is a plus, but can be learned on the job.
Vaccine pass required.
Time commitment
2 hours weekly during school term time, times and locations vary so please enquire when applying. Locations are Dunedin and Mosgiel.
