Dunedin RDA is a not-for-profit organisation whos core purpose is to improve confidence, independence and wellbeing for people experiencing disability, or who have specific challenges or needs, through therapeutic horse riding & horse care.

Come join the team at Dunedin Riding for the Disabled (RDA)
We are looking for paddock assistants to help us care for our lovely herd of horses. This involves feeding horses their hay and hard feed, mucking out their paddocks, rugging/unrugging the horses and topping up/cleaning their water troughs. Morning paddock duties start at approx. 9am and evening paddock duties start at approx. 5pm. Paddock duties usually take around an hour or so. Training is provided!
Requirements
Used to being around horses
Horse experience is helpful
Physically fit
Warm clothing appropriate for the job; covered shoes, sunhat if needed
Time commitment
Monday - Sunday, 1-1 ½ hours, morning or evening.
Background check
Police - animals, vulnerable children
